God created Satan, yes. He created him for the same reason he created any of us, to share his love. Satan rebelled and tried to wage war on God, and was cast into hell. He is now responsible for the eternal torment of all the sinners. Go figure. I mean personally I think all that's metaphorical. And honestly who cares. Dwelling on the idea of Satan is exhausting. I am forced to learn about this stuff because I go to a Catholic high school (I'm not Catholic.)
